Sam Broome

A native of Northern California, Sam grew up playing almost every sport offered. Once he realized he was better at getting the ball in the fairway than he was at swinging for the fence, he turned his focus and passion to the game of golf. After excelling at the high school level, Sam was honored as an All American at Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, CA. From there he enrolled in New Mexico State University’s Professional Golf Management Program (PGM). At NMSU he received both a bachelor’s of business, as well as his PGA Class “A” membership. While at school he also honed his golf game in local Mini Tour events.
After graduating college Sam found his passion for teaching while working as an Assistant Golf Professional at several prestigious clubs, including The Founders Club in Sarasota, Florida, as well as Pine Canyon Club in Flagstaff, Arizona, and Roaring Fork Club in Aspen, Colorado. In both 2009 and 2010 Sam expanded his instruction globally to Asia, working with students in both Thailand and Vietnam.
Sam became the Director of Portland Golf in Schools in November, 2011. Sam is a student of PGA Hall of Fame instructor Manuel de la Torre. De la Torre has become well known for his club-focused approach to teaching the swing, as well as his book, Understanding the Golf Swing. Sam is taking those teachings and helping simplify golf for everyone.
Amm Mejaroen

A native of Thailand, Amm grew up helping her mother and grandmother cooking in their family restaurant. She worked as an Engineer Assistant in the opening of "Environment Plus Paper Company".
She then wanted to pursue a degree in Engineering, until she realized she was better with hospitality than math. So she turned her focus and passion to the hotel business.
While Amm was still in college, she completed her international internship program, from The Eseeola Lodge Llc. in Linville, NC and Smoke Tree Ranch in Palm Spring, CA. After graduating college Amm's passion for cooking was resurrected while working as a leader of concierge at Several hotels in Thailand. These prestigious facilities included; Intercontinental Hotel, and Marriott Resort in Hua Hin, Thailand.
Amm became a chef and caterer of her own company "Sabai Thai Catering", in Aspen Colorado, in May of 2011.
